Dr. Allan Purdy, has a special interest in migraine, and does see patients in consultation with migraine or headache on referral from their doctor. There is a comprehensive Pain Management Unit at the Queen Elizabeth Health Sciences Center in Halifax where some patients with intractible migraine are seen on referral. Pediatricpatients with migraine or chronic headache are seen by the neurologists at the IWK - Grace Health Sciences Centre in Halifax, upon referral.
