If you are one of the unlucky millions of Canadians to suffer from bad headaches, you are probably saying to yourself, "I can relate."

Headaches are one of the most common complaints to mankind, yet little is known about its complexity. Headache sufferers can drift from doctor to doctor, clog emergency rooms, seek out alternative treatments that are not tested, sometimes become alienated from the medical profession and often never improve or even worsen at times.

Work with your headache doctor and educational headache charity to:

• Reduce daily Over-the-Counter medicines which will help you short-term - but cause another very difficult problem if over-used
  
  
• Identify Potential Triggers (look for foods, environmental, or stressful situations) and use trigger-avoidance wherever possible)
  
  
• Incorporate preventative strategies (that will lessen your headache susceptibility), know your headache threshold, do your own research (we can help), incorporate lifestyle changes or additions
